Arts Council of Wales are pleased to announce the launch of the Digital Innovation fund for the Arts in Wales. The Digital Innovation Fund is a new strategic partnership between Arts Council of Wales and Nesta, following on from the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts in Wales. The programme aims to encourage arts organisations to undertake innovation projects, using digital technology as a tool to help improve audience reach and engagement or develop new business models. This new programme builds on the lessons learnt from the original R&D Fund, providing grant funding at different levels, alongside additional support in terms of a comprehensive workshop programme and external business support from a pool of experts in the arts, digital and entrepreneurial fields. To start with, we’re keen to hear about the challenges you face or the opportunities you’ve identified that you think may benefit from a digital approach. Applications are now open and will close on the 11th December 2016.
To help you build a solid proposition for your project we’re running application workshops later in October
