Presented by bloc in association with The Lab Haverfordwest.
bloc brought together an amazingly diverse group of 35 people from the fields of art, technology and the outdoors for our first ever Wild Hack on Saturday 24th October.
Wild Hack Haverfordwest was established to kick start bloc’s concept of Wild Technology (inspiring people to get outdoors using art and technology imaginatively) and to begin to invent new tools and/or resources to inspire people to use the wonderful wild spaces on Haverfordwest’s doorstep.
Wild Hack Haverfordwest saw computer scientists working alongside artists, local residents and outdoor experts from the fields of archaeology, adventure, hydrography, foraging and much more.
Participants ranged from organisations such as Cardiff School of Art & Design, National Trust Wales, Field Studies Council, TYF Adventure Group and Forest Schools Wales etc.
It was a wonderfully fast and energetic event and we hope that we have built the start of a Wild Technology Network to take this concept further.
We want to thank everyone for their valuable input and time and are happy to share the following images from the event.
