Date: 16 Nov 2010, 9.00 – 17.00
Inventorium are holding a one-day intensive workshop of Technology and Tourism in Llandudno Junction on November 16th.
Ed Parsons, the Chief Location Technologist of Google will be a keynote speaker and participate throughout the day.
The day is about participative, practical, innovative activity – with the specific desire to start creating new products, systems and processes. There is no `simple` hour by hour agenda for the day and the outflows will be solid ideas which Inventorium will assist in bringing to reality.
We will restrict attendance to 30 people – of which 12 -15 should be tourism businesses and 4-6 should be tourism policy/support such as Visit Wales, WAG and Local Authorities. The other attendees are people with digital technology knowledge and expertise who want to exploit their skills to create new tourist business.
PLACES are LIMITED so registration is recommended and we will advise acceptance of a place as soon as possible. We are looking for open-minded tourism thinking and we are already getting considerable responses from the industry. We will follow this up with very specific technical and business support to bring these ideas to reality. We have also identified potential sources of financial and technical support.
