Join us for the opening of this innovative new project by Manchester art collective Archipelago at the Triangle Shopping Centre.

Exploring the potential of the ‘participatory’ trend in arts organisations, the Consulate will re-imagine essential elements of Cornerhouse off-site ´ operating as Cornerhouse ´on foreign soil”. Allowing a look behind-the-scenes, visitors will see current Cornerhouse staff receiving face-casts, and be able to explore a recreation of the Chief Executive’s office, complete with programming plans for possible future projects Cornerhouse could, or should, be doing. There will also be an accompanying installation at Cornerhouse from Thu 24 Feb where the face casts will be hung on the walls of the café bar.

A Cornerhouse Micro Commission, supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

With support from Manchester City Council, Triangle Shopping Center, Kinnarps, and Building Design Partnership Limited.

Opening hours: Wednesday to Saturday 12:00 ´ 18:00, Sunday 12:00 ´ 17:00. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Area: not in wales
