Residency at Access Space ⁄⁄

Artists, hackers, designers, engineers and creative technologists are invited to apply for a month long residency at Access Space for spring 2007 (timescales negotiable).

Based in the heart of Sheffield, Access Space is the UK`s first open access Free Media Lab. Access Space uses Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and recycled computers to develop creativity, community, skills and
resourcefulness. It`s a place for skill sharing, artistic endeavour, creative expression and collective knowledge.

Applicants should have some experience using technology in creative projects although Access Space is open to interesting ideas irrespective of past experience.

The selected applicant will be given an honorarium of £3,400 (to include all fees and travel). There are modest budgets for accommodation and production. Technical support is also available if necessary.
