The Imagine 2020 Network are running a four-year programme of International Summer Labs for artists. This is an opportunity to join other artists, scientists, economists, philosophers, policy makers, NGO representatives from across Europe to learn new approaches to how we can bring together art, activism and science to tackle climate change and engage in a dialogue on global change. The Summer Labs are taking place from 2011 – 2014 in France, Portugal and Croatia and the UK.

The Imagine 2020 Summer Lab 2014 is a 4-day residential lab, which brings together creative practitioners to explore varied artistic approaches to addressing climate change and its wider related issues, through daily guided sessions, workshops, performances and site visits in the South Downs National Park.
Artsadmin are offering 4 places for UK based artists to take part in the lab, and to propose a 2-3 hour session during the week based on their artistic approach to climate related issues including strategies towards a psychology of change, social justice, alternative ways of living and collectivity.
