This meeting aims to explore a growing professional sector which hybridises the creative and conceptual approach of artists with viable businesses concerned with technology.

Outline:

Innovation can be seen as an essential quality to these two seemingly opposing worlds, both advanced by alternative approaches. The Internet has had a central role to play in the dissemination of information (publication) as well as being the launch site of successful business. This meeting will ask: `What was the digital revolution?` and `Is the Internet still a site for subversive activities?`
