Ecology and technology are apparently binary opposites with ecologists claiming that in our haste to `advance` we have caused detrimental and irreversible damage to our environment.

In contrast, contemporary culture appears to celebrate `accelerated development` and its offspring speed. This meeting explores whether telenetworking, an industry of low environmental impact, can unite ecological and technological concerns whilst strengthening economically vulnerable rural communities.
This meeting will also examine issues of energy consumption and non-degradable materials used by both rural and urban telenetworkers

  1. Geez, that’s unbeilveable. Kudos and such.
