To celebrate the event, an exhibition will open from 25 February at Furtherfield Gallery, showcasing works by artists all featured in the new REFF book: Garrett Lynch, Rebar Group and Xname. A real-time interactive map, created for the exhibition, will describe the life of REFF all over the world: 60 authors, artists, designers, architects, hackers, journalists, activists; dozens of actions; a live and real-time stream of information collectively produced by a worldwide community of re-inventors. The process is open: please contact us if you feel that your actions are reinventing reality and, thus, should be added to the visualization.

Guest Speaker: Rachel & Adam Price, Directors of lifeonshow.tv

The power of the Web has opened up a myriad of opportunities for the online consumption of information, news, music, entertainment, products and services. The wealth of choice and the general lack of time people have means companies and service providers are competing increasingly hard for the attention of customers.

How do you propose to stand out from the crowd, keep people on your website long enough to convey your message and convert that browser into a paying customer?

Streaming video is one way of making your site more dynamic and engaging for visitors. There are a host of platforms available, but they also come with associated cost and technical usability hurdles.

Life on Show. TV was launched by Adam Price, having noticed a gap in the market for a sophisticated yet usable online TV portal. Adam and Rachel will explain how simple it is to launch your own online TV channel, enhance and actually monetise your online offering.
